Steps to Salvation - How do I get saved?

Admit you are a sinner. That shoulnd't be hard, anyone who is perfectly honest with theirself knows there are things in their life that clearly show a broken relationship with God. As the bible say's, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)

Believe Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior of the world. Without Him there is no hope, in Him there is hope for today and forever. A good scripture reference on this subject is: John 1:12, "yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God."

Confess your Sins. Don't tell God how good you are, tell Him how much you need His forgiveness for your sins. As Paul wrote in Romans 10:9-10, ...if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

The Invintation is to repent, (turn from your sins) and by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life and to follow Him as Lord.

What to pray?

Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe that you died for my sins and arose from the grave. I now turn from my sins and invite you to come into my heart and life. I receive You as my personal Savior and follow you as my Lord.

If you prayed this prayer with all your heart, you will be saved and born again.
